Relive Vicenza Style(R)! Lisa Shares Her Photos from Italy

I wanted to share my photos from Italy with those of you who aren't on Facebook. And, I also wanted to share two more videos that our crew shot during our time there…enjoy! :)

 Lucky!

OMG! I almost forgot Lucky! I had to go back and get him. I wonder what else I forgot? Guess I'll find out when I get there.

Boarding the PlaneWaiting to board the plane. These international flights carry a lot of people! From the left is Scott, me, Joe, Helene and Carrie. Just part of the village it takes to put on the shows.

Landed in Venice  Just landed in Venice. I think we're going to need a bigger van :)

Venice 3Now this is what I call a work environment! Wow...Venice is beautiful.

Inspiration in Venice It’s an easy place to get inspiration! :)

Bell Tower, Venice

In all the times I have visited Venice, I have never gone across the lagoon to San Giorgio Maggiore. This view from the bell tower is breathtaking. If you have a chance to go, I highly recommend it.

San Giorgio Maggiore San Giorgio Maggiore, the beautiful church across the lagoon from St Marks. It was designed by Andrea Palladio, and you get a beautiful view of Venice. :)

Dinner in VeniceIt's dinner in Venice. We have a courtyard to ourselves as we eat alfresco. This was Jacopo's dinner. Very Italian. :)

Venice 2 Everything in Venice looks like a movie set. It's easy to forget that people really live here.

Market in Venice

This is the market in Venice. It is not far from the Rialto Bridge. The fresh fruits and vegetables are brought in daily. It looks so good!

Strawberries in Venice

We stopped at the open air market by the Rialto Bridge and bought some fresh fruit. This is the remains of the best strawberry EVER! OMG it tasted like a strawberry! (You know what I mean.) :)

Strawberry BreakWe're very "high brow" when we shoot B-roll in Venice. It's hot, we're tired, and we just decided to take advantage of some shade and eat the rest of the strawberries. You gotta get by! From the left: me, Jacopo, and Scott.

Rialto Bridge

We left Venice for Padua this afternoon, but I had to include one more picture. You know a place is beautiful when a cell phone camera takes a picture like this. :)

Building in PaduaGood morning from Padua! Angelo, our stylist, and I are off to do some exploring. Hope you have a great day. :)

Padua, Italy This is from our walk into town. It's just a beautiful area. :)

San Giorgio Maggiore Venice is such a magical city and this year we wanted you to experience it with us through a video tour! Click here {http://qvc.co/TourofVenice} to watch.

After VicenzaI bundled up as soon as I got off the air, I was freezing!!! Have to figure something out for tonight, so I can function!

Padua, ItalyGood morning from Padua! Do you think they'd let me move in here?

  1. Venice

We finished up at 6am local time. The crew took everything down, rewound all the cables and we're spending the afternoon in Venice, before flying back in the morning. We'll sleep on the plane. Don't want to waste a minute! Hope you're having a great day.

Caprese at Dinner

The whole crew is out for dinner. Angelo ordered the Caprese. It looks like Cinderella's coach and it's filled with mozzarella! Isn't that amazing?! :)

I love to look at the doors on the older buildings in Italy. They don't make them like that anymore!

MozzarellaIt is true that Mozzarella never tastes the same in the states. Something about Italy. :)

The Bridge of Sighs It is early morning in Venice and we are all gathering to leave. I wanted to share this picture as it is one of my favorites; "The Bridge of Sighs". It is a sad story but a beautiful bridge. Venice is full of wonderful stories. :)

Arrivederci Italia, I could never tire of Italy. I could never visit without gratitude, wonder and joy. Thank you for sharing this trip with me. See you back in the States.

See you soon! More pictures to come. :)

Happy 1st Birthday Grace Ella (Gracie)!!!

Happy 1st Birthday to our puppy Grace Ella (Gracie)!!!  You have changed our lives (and many objects inside and outside of our home that you have eaten! FYI - we've tried Bitter Yuck, Bitter Apple and Hot Sauce - nothing works!  Suggestions?)!

Our spoiled baby loves her My Pillow Dog --- on the sofa!!! She's grown into a beautiful and loving spirit!!!  :)

She despises rain but LOVED all the snow we got this winter!!!  She had so much fun!!!

The day we brought her home she fell asleep in my arms!  She is constantly kissing me!  When she got spayed - I thought it was only fair if I wore the "cone" at least once (she's looking at me like I'm crazy!)

You've grown from an 11 pound adorable puppy we saw at our town carnival last year --- to a 52 pound giver of UNCONDITIONAL LOVE!!!

When we got to visit with her and apply to adopt her!  She showed off her cuteness!!!

Theresa chose her name Grace!  Her middle name Ella is in honor or Chaz Dean's Ella who passed away last June (and Grace was the name of one of his dogs who passed away several years ago.).

This is her "Gotcha Birthday" - the day we were lucky enough to adopt her!!!  Thank you all who told me about the "Gotcha" tradition!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!!!

We love you Gracie!!!

Grills and Fire Pits: The Best Excuse To Entertain

$

Close your eyes and envision a warm afternoon or cool evening breeze, the smoky aroma of hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill, and the sounds of family and friends laughing…welcome to my ideal summer gathering. And with the long and brutal winter many of us endured, I have been daydreaming of this for a long time!  No matter how you slice it, or grill it rather, entertaining that centers around a grill or fire pit is the best.

Many people are either ardent fans of charcoal grills or adamant gas grill enthusiasts. No matter which team you are on, I think we all can agree that grilling is the ideal way to cook for a lot of people with really good food.  My husband and I turn to our charcoal grill when we crave the smoky aroma and taste on our meal.  The combo of briquettes and hotdogs and hamburgers is a gift from the heavens.  I do like adding wood chips to the charcoal too.  Maple chips with fish is wonderful and we do also like hickory chips with our beef and pork dishes.

I turn to my propane grill often because it is easy and fast to use.  When we entertain large groups our gas grill is perfect to grill the main dish with an accompanying dish on the side burner.  Hamburgers next to a pot of chili on the grill, or a large piece of salmon with a pan of lemony sauce to top it off makes for a complete grill meal.  And, clean up is so easy that you can enjoy one more glass of wine with your friends – doesn’t get better than that!

Our fire pit has become our outdoor kitchen in many ways.  You know when you host any type of party and everyone inevitably gathers in your kitchen?   That is our fire pit.  I surround our fire pit with bales of hay, comfortable seating, throw blankets, pillows and even a basket with new socks in every size – cozy to the extreme.  Of course there are a few coolers filled with ice cold beer and wine out there as well.  If I truly want to make this area the center of the entire occasion, I station coolers filled with hot dogs, hamburgers, fish, you name it for guests to prepare on the fire pit grill.  My friends enjoy this as they can eat what they want, when they want, and how they want it.

Oh, and as I remember an experience I had around the fire pit a few years ago, I suggest one more addition to your fire pit party – a water hose close at hand.  Not too long ago, my blanket was a bit too close to an ember and I got a lot warmer, a lot quicker than I had expected.

I hope you will enjoy all of the perks the summer has to offer!

- Barbara

PS: David and I were inspired by this grilling season and took to the kitchen for a summer perfect potato salad. Check it out below:

Rangemate Cooking - Day 1 - Fritatas!

$

I have a frittata recipe that typically takes 35 minutes in the oven. I used the same ingredients and made Mini Frittatas in the Rangemate. They came out perfectly and only took 12 minutes. Plus, I can freeze the the little individual frittatas and they’re perfect to pull out for breakfast in a hurry!

Once my mini frittatas were done, I put chicken sausage links in the Rangemate and they were done in 4 minutes -- complete with grill marks. I added fresh berries and clementines and breakfast was done. Delicious and soooo easy

Day 1 and I’m loving this pan already!

Mini Frittatas in the Rangemate

Ingredients

4 eggs

1/3 cup milk

2/3 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced zucchini

1/4 cup diced red bell pepper

2 tbsp diced yellow onion

salt

pepper

olive oil

non-stick cooking spray

Beat eggs and milk in a bowl. Stir in vegetables and cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Spray Rangemate silicone muffin cups with non-stick spray and pour egg mixture into each cup. Fill the bottom of the Rangemate pan with 1 cup of water and place the muffin insert into the pan. Cover with lid and microwave until the egg mixture sets to your desired solid texture. (It took 12 minutes in my 1000 watt microwave)

*Optional -- In a small bowl combine the zucchini, red pepper and onion; add a dash of salt and drizzle with a little olive oil. Cover the bowl and cook in microwave for 1 minute. This softens the vegetables and enhances the flavor before they’re added to the egg mixture.

You can double or triple the recipe for multiple batches since the mini frittatas will freeze well. You can also change and add any ingredients that you like. I think I’ll try spinach, mushrooms and swiss cheese next time. :-)

A Visit to The Honora Pearl Team in NYC

It's a big milestone for me...my first TSV kickoff! As we greet a new day at QVC, we usher in an exciting new item and spotlight it all day. And for my first kickoff, I can't think of anything more exciting than jewelry! It's a passion of mine and has been forever. I love that a simple piece can make a woman feel special, feel beautiful. And pearls have been doing that for us for hundreds of years! I'd always wanted to visit the Honora Pearls team on their home turf, and so this was the perfect time to go. Gabby and I boarded a train and headed to NYC to visit Ralph, Jennie and Joel at their offices.

The view from the Honora offices in NYC!

The trio welcomed us with open arms at their headquarters, showing us around and even taking us into the "vault" where piles of precious pearls in all colors, shapes and sizes waited for their destinations. Joel, Ralph and Jennie took time to explain to Gabby the fascinating process by which pearls are formed and harvested. And you could really see Ralph light up when talking about the Ming Pearl (a QVC customer favorite, too!)...check out the picture of him showing Gabby a tour of a Ming piece. By the time he was done describing it to Gabby she was officially a huge fan! Like mother, like daughter.

Ralph was so kind to explain to Gabby how unique the Ming pearl is and how it gets its gorgeous natural color. Gabby is hooked now!

To be honest, though: my favorite part of the trip had nothing to do with pearls. We had lunch at a local deli and spent more time laughing that we did eating. I'm so glad Gabby got to see yet again that the biggest benefits I get from my job are the opportunities to meet amazing, passionate, driven, and wonderfully caring people that love what they do too.

Me, Ralph, Joel and Jennie at lunch. Thanks, Gabby for playing photog!

Here are some more pics from our trip...I hope you enjoy! And I hope you'll tune in at midnight on Monday the 23rd. I'm so excited to be the first to show you a new offering from Honora at a crazy good value, and such a beautiful piece at that! You may spy a hint at what it is in one of these pics!

A mini style-out  of Honora pieces. I'll take one of everything, please!

oooh looky! I found QVC's stash!

The organic, irregular shaped pearls are my favorites....so I just had to throw in this photo!

See you Monday, pearlie girlies! In the meantime, you can find me on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/jennifercoffeyqvc!

I’m Back!!

Please join me June 24 and 25.

I am so happy that it is finally summer. We had a long, cold winter here in Vermont and a rainy wet spring, but the rain has brought our gardens to life in a spectacular way.  My backyard has turned into a fern forest!!

I have not appeared on QVC since January!! That interim gave me time to design new pieces for you. Lots of stones and lots of drama. A limited edition necklace is one of my favorites.  Some of you spotted it on my Facebook page because it was available in the UK and you requested that I bring it here so here you are!

Turquoise seems to be a perennial favorite so I incorporated it in a new swirly ring.

Pendants are so easy to wear and so adaptable.  This one is available in a choice of three stones, amber, malachite and lapis. This pendant has a big stone presence.

Easy to wear earrings are always in demand and I have designed these playful earrings to accentuate the light reflection yet be super comfy.

I have recently returned from Taxco and wanted to share some pictures with you. It is as stunning as ever. For more pictures of this gorgeous town visit my Facebook page.

Please join me on June 24 at 1pm (set your alarms!) for a Taxco Traditions hour within the Global Artisan show. I am back at 7pm with more designs. On June 25, I will appear at 1pm and at 1pm. The evening show is all new!! Call in and talk to me, please. I always enjoy hearing your comments and thoughts.

Peace,

Dominique

This dish is from the Rangemate recipe book that came with the grill pan. The ingredients were easy and the prep was even easier. The whole dish was done in about 10 minutes -- now that’s good food “fast”.

(The Rangemate will be our TSV on June 25th)

Sausage & Peppers

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 green bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips

1 red bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips

1 diced tomato

12 -14 oz Italian Sausage  cut into 1/2-inch slices (I used Sweet Italian Style Chicken Sausage)

Salt and Pepper to taste

Place olive oil in Rangemate pan and add sausage. Cover with lid and microwave for 4 minutes. Add peppers and tomatoes, and season with salt and pepper. Cover with lid and microwave for another 4 minutes. Remove, stir and serve.

You can serve this dish over pasta or rice, or enjoy it alone with delicious crusty bread.

Day 2 and I’m loving the Rangemate even more!

How-to Make Popcorn Balls -- The Perfect Summer Sleepover Snack!

$

0

Hi, everyone!

I hope you enjoyed Wednesday’s You're Home with Jill Grand Finale of our first-ever QVC PLUS® series. It was the first time QVC tried a true lifestyle show and I am honored and humbled to have been a part and of it. Through the wonders of technology, you can still catch every single pre-produced episode that ran over the last two months on QVC.com. Just search YHJ / Episodes. And, because each show was packed full of ideas, I’ll be blogging about a few things you might have missed throughout the summer…starting with today. :)

So are your kids and grand-kids out of school yet? We’re mostly finished here in the Philadelphia area…some schools are out today, others wrap up the end of next week. I can’t remember a time when the kids were in school as long as they were this year. What a winter! Anyway, summer is my kids’ favorite time of year, as well as my own. I love being able to spend more time with them and do things like go to the beach, go to local amusement parks, and have summer sleepovers!

Did you ever see that popular coffee commercial on TV? The father and son are camping—they’ve got their tent set up, a campfire going, marshmallows over the fire, and they catch some lightning bugs in mason jars...hopefully they already had breathing holes punched in the top! Anyway, at the end of the commercial, it starts raining and they run inside the house....which is right there! They were in the backyard the whole time. I LOVE that. And I wholeheartedly agree with the concept…you needn’t go to a fancy park or campground to have a summer sleepover unless you’re lucky enough to have one nearby. You don’t even have to go outside, for that matter. You can have summer sleepovers virtually anywhere…as long as you and the kids aren’t in their normal beds, it’ll feel special.

The secret is to make it an “event.” Give the kids a backpack and help them fill it with camping supplies like flashlights, sleeping bags, books, and SNACKS. In the our last YHJ episode, I showed you how to make Popcorn Balls and I can’t think of a better time to have snacks at-the-ready, or make with the kids before your trip.

Popcorn Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 40 mini marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 12 cups popped popcorn (and/or cereal)
  • 1 cup of your favorite nuts (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Popcorn Balls

Popcorn Balls

Preparation:

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Stir in the marshmallows and vanilla and continue to stir until melted.
  2. In a large bowl place popcorn, cereal, or a combination of both. Add the marshmallow mixture, nuts, and spice, if using. Mix to coat.
  3. Spray a large ice cream scoop with cooking spray. Then, put on disposable gloves and spray the palm of each hand with cooking spray. Scoop balls of coated popcorn, shape into balls with your hands, and place them on waxed paper to stand until firm.

Popcorn Balls

You know what tastes great with popcorn balls? Frozen Hot Chocolate! Check out my recipe on QVC.com.

Have a great weekend! I’ll see you again soon and I’ll blog again with you on Tuesday.

Angel’s Patriotic Decoration!

$
0
0

Well, as you may know, Jeanne Bice loved Memorial Day, and her house was full of Americana decorations! She inspired me to follow suit and decorate my house in honor of our great Country!

Here is a shot from Jeanne’s home all full of decorations! Many of these decorations she left up for the entire summer, celebrating the patriotic holidays all summer long!

I wanted to create a tablescape for my home, and I didn’t want to purchase too many new items. So I decided to repurpose some lanterns that I had received, from Jeanne’s collection, and turn them into a fun patriotic centerpiece. Just wait until you see what I plan to do with these lanterns in the fall and winter – stay tuned!

All of the items that you will need to make this centerpiece can be picked up at Michael’s, A.C. Moore, Hobby Lobby or any craft/home store!!

Start off with a clean lantern of your choosing!

Grab some patriotic metal words if you can find them. These are from when we had a Quacker Factory home collection; if you have these, it is a great way to repurpose them. If you don’t have them or you can’t find something similar, you can certainly do without.

Grab some glass beads or marbles. I picked these glass beads with stars last year at Pier One Imports. Clear glass beads would work just as nicely!

You’ve got to have some fun ribbon to tie on the top of the lantern.

Small flags can be purchased at this time of year in just about every major store!

I used a small square glass vase I had and filled it with sand. You could also use a drinking glass. I used sand we had lying around, but you could purchase white decorative sand at a craft store or home store. (I saw some white sand at Pottery Barn recently). Why not try layers of red, white & blue sand???

To start, fill the glass vessel with sand, and place it inside the lantern.

Next, scatter the glass beads around the vessel, making sure not to get any in the sand.

Then place the flags in the sand, filling the lantern with the stars & stripes!

If you have patriotic words on hand, go ahead and place a few inside the lantern.

Next, close the lid of the lantern, and add a festive bow!

I added one more patriotic word under the ribbon for extra sparkle!

Here is my dining room table with two lanterns and a fun Uncle Sam hat I picked up last year at Pier 1! You can add a table runner and more words for extra fun, and, of course, the star garland (purchased at Michael’s) giving the entire table a little more pizazz! You could also choose to add red, white & blue lights to the table. I plan to leave my tablescape up all summer long!! I’d love to see what you come up with. Please share your pictures of your creations with me, Patrick & the entire Quacker Factory Community on our Facebook pages!

Rangemate Cooking Day 3 - Celebrate Summer with Nectarines

$

Today is the summer solstice -- the first day of summer! One of my favorite things to do in summer is visit farmer's markets and fruit stands. I love summer fruits, and they’re never better than when you can find them grown locally.

In honor of summer and summer fruits, I used nectarines for my Day 3 Rangemate recipe. If you haven’t tried nectarines, they’re basically fuzz-less peaches. I used the Rangemate to grill them for an easy delicious dessert.

Grilled Nectarines

Ingredients:

2 ripe nectarines

olive oil

maple syrup

Pit the nectarines and cut each into 8 wedges. Place the wedges in a bowl, drizzle with olive oil and maple syrup and toss. Once the nectarines are coated, place them in the Rangemate grill pan. Cover pan with the lid and microwave for 3-4 minutes. Turn the nectarines over and microwave for another 2 minutes. Remove and serve.

Grilled nectarines are delicious topped with a little whipped cream, or served over ice cream on a hot summer day!

Day 3 and I’m still loving the Rangemate. Happy Summer!

Rangemate Cooking Day 4 -- Steamed Cod

$

0

This may have been my easiest recipe yet in the Rangemate. The ingredients were very simple -- cod fillets, olive oil and seasoning.

Cod is a nice mild fish, and steaming really allowed me to enjoy the flavor. The entire meal took 11 minutes to make. Score another plus for the Rangemate!

Steamed Cod

Ingredients

cod filets

olive oil

garlic herb seasoning salt

Drizzle olive oil over fish and spread to coat. Sprinkle seasoning on top. Fill Rangemate pan with 1 cup of water. (You can also use wine or stock.) Place silicone steam insert in pan and put filets on insert. Cover with lid and microwave for 10-11 minutes. Remove fish from pan and serve.

By the way, the steamer insert is included with the Rangemate Grill that I’ll introduce as the Today’s Special Value on Wednesday, 6/25. Be sure to check it out if you enjoyed my recipes this week.

Rangemate Cooking Day 5 -- Black Bean Quesadilla

$

0

The only time I put tortillas in the microwave is to warm them, and even then, they have to be wrapped in a damp paper towel and watched very carefully because they can easily become leathery and tough. So I was pleasantly surprised when I made this quesadilla in the Rangemate and the tortillas were perfect. Prep time about 5 minutes -- time in the microwave 3 minutes. Lunch ready in under 10!

Black Bean Quesadilla

Ingredients -- (makes 2 quesadillas)

1/2 can of black beans, drained

1/2 cup shredded pepper jack cheese

1 tbsp chopped cilantro

4  6” tortillas

1/2 avocado, cubed

1 tsp fresh lime juice

pinch of salt

Mash half the beans with a fork until smooth, and mix with remaining whole beans. Spread beans on tortilla, top with cheese and cilantro. Cover with second tortilla. Spray Rangemate pan with non-stick spray and place quesadilla in pan. Cover with lid and microwave for 2 minutes. Flip quesadilla and microwave for 1 minute more. Remove quesadilla from pan and cut into 4 slices. Toss cubed avocado with lime juice and salt and serve over quesadillas.

I’ll introduce the Rangemate as the Today’s Special Value, Wednesday, 6/25 at midnight.

One of My Other Lives

When I'm not at QVC or prepping for an appearance, I'm on set styling, shooting and more.

Thought I'd share a little window into a morning on set!  It's a behind the scenes glimpse for an editorial that will appear in the pages of ELLE this fall! So stay tuned to see the final results when it debuts.

Here's a little snippet of MY process the day of the shoot…

I still get giddy walking into the space and looking at all the FABULOUS pieces. It's a little slice of heaven.

On a shoot day, I like to arrive early and get right to work.

My styling area is set up with racks of clothes, tables of jewelry, hats, belts, leg wear, eye wear and shoes lined along the racks, and everything else you can imagine. I try to keep everything visible so i can see all my options to make the magic happen. Once we've gathered all of our pieces and the materials are in play it's all about the edit with my team. This is the fun part! My technique is pretty close to the styling process I use for our on air shows at QVC which is why I love my styling table!)

I start to go through the racks of clothes, pulling together outfits for the shoot. I then share my vision with hair, makeup and of course the photographer, they are capturing the subject and truly make the shoot come to life...

Styling an Editorial is a full on collaboration, just like creating my line  LOGO, it takes a village of artists: hair, makeup, models, set designers and of course stylists. We are prepping and on our feet all day long...

When we've decide the concept and direction, that's when I get to go for it. I then meet with my styling team to cover key looks from the designers and magazine, source and find all of my favorite looks of the season and then some. I love to be prepared with as many options to visually tell the story! Here are some behind the scenes shots and a little window into my editorial styling process. Hope you love!

Chicken Caesar Salad with Avocado Dressing: Classic with a Twist!

$

Hello foodies…

There’s nothing easier to throw together during the summer than a salad. But, salads can be tricky. For those of us who truly enjoy food (and by that I mean those of us who have to stop and Happy Dance when we eat something we LOVE), salad can sometimes feel like “diet” food, leaving us wondering, “okay, that was a nice snack, but where’s the meal!?” So I always try to give you salad recipes that are packed with not only yummy flavors, but ingredients that will fill your bellies and make you feel like you’ve had a satisfying meal. My Caesar Salad with Avocado Dressing recipe does the trick, and is truly unique! Avocados, packed with healthy oils, are transformed into a perfect base for salad dressing when tossed into a blender. And I promise you, even if you are squeamish about anchovies, you’ll like this dressing. They really taste more salty than fishy when their mixed in with other ingredients. Try decreasing the amount at first if you’re unsure, and just keep taste testing as you blend!

Now that couldn’t be easier, could it? I love having a rotisserie chicken around—it can be used in so many different ways and is great for when you don’t feel like cooking. There are so many other tips and tricks for summer cooking that can help you prepare food without heating up the kitchen. For example, we often think of using a pressure cooker for preparing warm and hearty meals during the winter, but it’s actually perfect for summer cooking as well! You can prepare an entire dinner that you’d normally need to put into a hot oven, in this one pot without emitting heat. We may say goodbye to meals like pot roast and stews for June, July, and August, but there’s one food that I can’t live without, no matter what the season. I’m sure you can guess, and that’s why I came up with this recipe for Pressure Cooker Mac and Cheese. It’s so creamy and delicious, and can be made in just about 5 minutes. Need a refresher on how to use a pressure cooker? I have a video for that!

Next week we’ll have one last No Fuss, No Cook, No Bake recipe for you, and then we look forward to Summer’s Best in July! And what could be better than a nice, juicy burger, hot off the grill? But have you tried grinding your own beef patties? It truly produces an outstanding burger, and isn’t difficult at all. Our friends from America’s Test Kitchen have shared a video that helps explain why home ground patties just taste better. Try this at home for your next grilling party and have all of your guests asking what your secret is!

That’s all for today, foodies. I hope you enjoy today’s Caesar salad with a twist, and I will leave you with a blog question: what’s your favorite protein to add to salads? Are you like me, and love the convenience of rotisserie chicken? How about grilled shrimp or salmon? Or another favorite of mine—steak, yummmmm. Would love to hear from you vegetarians, too!

See you Wednesday at 8pm ET for a brand new In the Kitchen with David.

Keep it Flavorful!

Hi, everyone!

We are enjoying a heat wave in Ireland at the moment, and the other day I made a visit to our quarry in the West of Ireland  to inspect the latest load of marble that we have lifted from the ground.

On the right hand side of the quarry we have opened up a new vein and have been able to lift some really beautiful  green marble - Ireland's national gem - which we will craft into jewellery for QVC.

We have two brand-new items on the upcoming artisan handcrafted jewellery event on Tuesday, 6/24, and Wednesday, 6/25,  - a beautiful handmade rosary bracelet (J294479) and a Newgrange inspired artisan ring (J294774).

I’ll be presenting these items on air during the shows on Wednesday, 6/25 at 1am & 1pm ET!

I am very excited to be part of this event and look forward to meeting you all very soon.

Stephen
