"Muppets Most Wanted" My love for The Muppets now passes to my daughter!

Some of my happiest childhood memories include The Muppets.  From age 6-11 I never missed "The Muppet Show".  120 episodes!  (Yes, I own them all on DVD!)  I loved how Kermit always wanted everyone to get along.  He wanted people to be happy.  I remember getting a small Kermit to sit on my bed when I was little.  He was always special to me.  But then there's the stunning Miss. Piggy!  Always the fashionista!   Fozzie, Gonzo, Animal, Statler & Waldorf, Sweetums, Beaker, Dr. Brunson Honeydew, Swedish Chef, Sam The Eagle, Rowlf, Scooter, the Inchworms, Janice & all of Electric Mayhem....ok, ok I'll stop or I'll name them all!  Yes, I'm a MUPPET FANATIC!

One of my favorite memories from "The Muppet Show" - when Mummenschanz would perform! Remember them?  They had clay masks - and they'd change their expressions by molding their faces or giant tubes that would bend into random shapes!  LOVED them!!!

When "The Muppets" returned in 2011 - my inner child screamed out loud!!!  It turns out that I'm not the only Muppet fanatic in my house!  My husband claims that he's the "Ultimate Muppet Fan"!  Oh....the challenge was on!  :)  So we introduced Theresa to The Muppets at that time - and had a great time reliving our childhood!  Theresa loves Kermit, Miss. Piggy, Fozzie, Animal, Miss. Piggy's dog Foo-Foo, Gonzo and Gonzo's Bulls!!!

What are your favorite memories of "The Muppets"???

Now...they're BACK with a "sequel" (You'll understand why I put that in quotes when you see the movie!) - "MUPPETS MOST WANTED"!!!

It was a very special trip to the movies for our family - and we LOVED every minute of it!!!   This is the 12th "Muppet" Movie!  Wow time flies when you're having fun!!!

Without giving away too much - you know from the previews that Kermit is replaced - without the knowledge of the rest of The Muppets - by the criminal mastermind Constantine!  Constantine bears an uncanny resemblance to Kermit --- it's really tricky to tell them apart when Constantine covers the mole on his face!  No wonder The Muppets were fooled (except ONE of The Muppets knew it wasn't Kermit!!!)

Ricky Gervais was brilliant and funny as "Dominic Badguy" - who is a "BAD GUY!"  One of my ALL TIME FAVORITES - Tina Fey was AMAZING!  I watch EVERY movie she makes!!!  (Did you know her brother works with us at QVC???  I bug him all the time about what she's up to!)  Then Ty Burrell was hysterical as an Interpol Detective!  I love how versatile he is as a comedic actor!  The guest appearances keep coming through the movie!  Danny Trejo, Celine Dion with Miss Piggy is fantastic, Salma Hayak, Ray Liotta and MORE!

You will have an amazing time at "Muppets Most Wanted"!!!  Of course, most parents and movie fanatics know that there are a few extras as the credits roll - so stay for those!  And when the credits are finished - there's one last thing that will make all of the moms laugh - after we just sat through all of the credits! :)

We really need more movies like "Muppets Most Wanted"!  After watching with my husband and Theresa - we had fun taking pictures!!!  With all the excitement - I never thought to ask my husband to step in to take the picture with us!!!  I felt so bad afterward!  Since we want to go see the movie again - we'll take a "Family" picture (as I ask some stranger to take our photo with my phone!)!

When I asked Theresa what she loved most about the movie - the first thing she said is "It's so nice that they care about all of their friends!"  She also mentioned that she liked that they say "sorry" when they should.  She said that's what real friends do - say they're sorry if they're wrong or not nice. I told her she was right and that I was glad she noticed that too.  She then immediately asked me where could we buy a stuffed version of Miss. Piggy's Foo-Foo!  She's good!  ;)

As far as a "sequel" goes - BRAVO!!!!!!!!  I'm so thrilled to see The Muppets continuing to create new generations of fans (which allows me no guilt when I buy Muppet items for myself --- I mean for my daughter!)!   Now if only they'd come out with a sequel to "Emmet Otter's Jug Band Christmas" from 1977!  Who remembers that movie?  One of my favorites!

Jim Henson - we're forever grateful for the happiness that you've brought to millions.  Your spirit and legacy continues.  I know that we will continue to enjoy The Muppets - no matter how old we get.

To have worked with The Muppets at QVC was both an honor and a privilege - and most of all - a childhood dream come true.  I can't stop smiling. :)

Wocka, wocka, wocka!
