Hello, foodies…

I just LOVE it when we hit a home run with one of our recipes!! Last week I introduced you to our S’more Dirt Cake and all you foodies with a sweet tooth got REALLY happy. That recipe has trumped everything else we’ve ever made on In the Kitchen with David. It has more blog views, more Facebook likes, more shares, more EVERYTHING. I’m so happy you loved it and I can’t wait to show you today’s recipe. It’s another simple, but incredibly delicious recipe: Key Lime Cheesecake Milk Shakes!

Foodies, this shake will NOT make you mad. It’s just like you’re eating key lime pie, only in drink-form. And dare I say…it’s better than key lime pie? I will....because it can be ready in 30 seconds. This has made my summer complete and I know you’re just going to love it.

Speaking of food-love, we’ve got an incredible Cookbook Corner® guest joining us this Wednesday...a VERY special lady named Bea Toms. In March of this year, Bea celebrated her 100th birthday. Let me say that again. SHE IS 100 YEARS OLD! Bea has spent her life cooking and baking Southern comfort foods and her cuisine is legendary across the state of Virginia—and beyond. She has joined us on QVC in the past and I’m thrilled to welcome Bea, herself, back to In the Kitchen with David this Wednesday with two books, Bea Toms Recipes From a Country Cook and Homeward Bound.

Recipes from a Country Cook

Since our minds are on sweet treats, tell me for today's blog question, what are your favorite summer sweets? Do you love water ice? Milk shakes? S’mores? A berry pie or crumble? I’ll see you Wednesday for a 3-hour ITKWD! It’s QVC’s Your Summer Kitchen event with some great special offers on your favorite tools and appliances. See you at 8pm ET.

Keep it flavorful!
—David
