I've always been a fan of Hello Kitty. As a kid I had Hello Kitty T-shirts, I collected puffy stickers and I even was the proud owner of a Hello Kitty Toothbrush! 
Fast forward to high school - where fate brought me together with Hello Kitty again. I had a job at a small, luxury gift shop that carried a small assortment of Hello Kitty items and, as part of a store promotion, the store planned a "Come and Meet Hello Kitty Day"! ..... and guess who was picked from all the employees to wear the costume - Yours Truly! I had the big head, the cute gloves, the whole outfit - and no one could tell that it was me in there! But, I kept thinking that I was giving my identity away by the way I walked or waved or greeted the customers! 
I started seeing kids that I went to high school with - even that cute boy!!! Yikes!
All in all, it was a fun experience and it is one of my most fond memories of that time. As a matter of fact, my whole family still giggles about it to this day..... and now you all can too!
I hope I get to meet Hello Kitty AGAIN when she comes to QVC on ________. I am sure I will be over the moon!
