Hi, everyone!
It’s pretty tough to stump me when it comes to gift ideas. I’m surrounded by some amazing items each and every day here at QVC, so I seem to find presents for almost everyone on my list. But, I’ll admit that I love putting something personal in my family's stockings or having a little something for holiday guests, my kids’ teachers, their friends, the list goes on...
This year, that little “something” is a pair of hand warmers!
To make these, find:
- 2 pieces of felt
- Rice
- Sewing machine
- Funnel
- Thread, to match felt
Then:
- Cut each piece of felt in half and decide on a shape you want to make.
- Sketch the shape onto all four pieces of felt with a pencil.
- Place the felt on top of each other and cut out your shape.
- Sew two of the pieces together leaving a 1” opening. Repeat with the other pieces.
- Using a funnel, fill each pocket with rice. (You pick how much rice you want the warmers to have.)
- Sew up the opening.
- Warm them up in the microwave for a few seconds and hold on tight!
We have a special time for You’re Home with Jill this week, everyone…join me on Tuesday at 5pm ET.
From my home to yours,
