We are definitely an iPad family. We're careful about what we let the girls use it for, and for how long, but I have to say, it's been a very welcome technology addition to our home. Today's Special Value, the 16GB iPad, is just that...a huge value opportunity for those who want to bring an iPad home, for WAY less. Husbands, wives, kids, grandparents, grandkids...it's really a gift for everyone and everyone has their own favorite ways to use it!
My in-laws gave my girls their old iPad when they upgraded, so that the kids had an iPad to play games on and watch movies on…when they were 2! We travel so much, so it’s been very helpful for trips. They are allowed to watch certain movies, look at pictures, and play approved learning games.
The rest of the family uses iPads primarily for movies, reading, and FaceTime! That's our biggie, we FaceTime every single day. I've got the mini, and I have lists on top of lists on mine. Another thing I love to do it use my bible app with my devotional on it…I use that every night! I'm a big Twitter girl too so I do that and read on my kindle app every day. It comes in handy for everything from listening to music, updating my calendar, and writing in my gratitude journal. In the morning I do yoga and barre3 streaming from my husband’s iPad, which we have connected to the TV in the basement. When trying to list out all of the ways our family uses the iPad, I don't think the question is what do we do with our iPads, it's more like what DON'T we do!
