Jen’s Pecan Pie Bars
Ingredients:
Crust:
½ cup unsalted butter
½ pkg cream cheese
¼ cup sugar
1 ¾ cup flour
½ tsp salt
½ tsp baking powder
Filling:
4 eggs
¾ cup corn syrup
1 cup sugar
½ stick butter, melted
¼ cup heavy cream
2 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt
1 ¾ cup chopped pecans
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Grease a 9” x 13” pan. To prepare the crust, beat the butter and cream cheese together. Add all of the other ingredients together and spread into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 10 minutes, and then turn the oven down to 350 degrees.
Whisk together all of the filling ingredients, pour over the crust and bake for another 30 minutes. Cool, cut, and enjoy!
