What you’ll need:
Easy-to-find ingredients.
For cinnamon crisps -
- 10” flour tortillas (about 10)
- Cooking spray
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
For salsa -
- 2 granny smith apples
- 1 lemon
- 2 kiwis
- 1 lb strawberries
- 1/2 lb raspberries
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons preserves (raspberry preserves were used here)
What you’ll do:
For crisps -
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Combine cinnamon and sugar and set aside.
- Work with three tortillas at a time; spray both sides with cooking spray and lightly sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar.
- Stack and cut into 12 wedges--using a pizza cutter makes this a lot easier. Spread out wedges on tray
- Bake 8-11 minutes or until crisp.
Yummy!
For salsa -
- Zest lemon and set aside.
- Peel and finely chop apple; squeeze lemon juice over pieces and mix.
- Chop strawberries and kiwis.
- Combine with raspberries, preserves, and brown sugar.
- Instead of chopping all the fruit, I used a food processor to chop and mix the salsa.
Ready to blend!
Be careful not to process too much or you may end up with a fruit smoothie--still delicious, but not the point.
- Allow to sit for about 15 minutes before serving.
Delicious!
