Kindness Counts!!

I firmly believe you DO NOT have to be a perfect size "whatever" or shape to be Healthy or Fit.  It's all about feeling good and having the energy and flexibility to do the things you LOVE... get on the floor with your kids, take a long walk, work in the garden.  We decided to make a Simple Substitution in our kids lunch boxes to introduce them to good nutritional habits--Healthy Happenings at Home.  No more burgers and fries and nuggets.  Instead, we go with a Bento Box approach with recognizable foods.  Chicken breast strips, veggies, hummus, and fruit.  One of our favorites is Kind Bars. Great for energy... nice and crunchy.... and a little sweet to take care of the afternoon munchies.  And I must confess.... around 3pm, you can usually find me with a Kind Bar and a coffee.  Perfect pick-me-up :~)
