In the final days of Black History Month I thought I’d share a brief clip of me with a few of my friends. As women of color, we understand the historical significance of “Lift Every Voice And Sing” so we decided to sing it at a recent gathering in friendship. Although we mixed a few of the lyrics, the power of the song and all that it represents is why we all joined in.
