Hi all!
I am so excited to join Shawn this Saturday from 2-3pm on “Shawn Says, Accessorize!” I am a big fan of hers (and have never gotten to work with her before) so am super excited to talk fashion & have some fun! I have gotten to meet so many of you over social media and I am so appreciative of all of your comments/suggestions. Keep ‘em coming. I am new to your family and loving every minute of getting to know everybody!
So…onto this magic leather bag that is about as big as my hand…
We all have those items that we can’t leave the house without, right? What are your must-haves? I made a list of mine (and there are more than I thought!) I challenged this Camo Crossbody to see if it can hold my goodies!

My Oil (similar to perfume- travel style!)
Can you believe it fits everything?
One side holds all my $$$ , my house key & my phone (I’m using it to take the pic so not in there—it fits right inside when I zipper up!) … the other side holds the rest!
Now, I am not saying this is your every day “schlep” bag (it is not going to hold your workout clothes, files and kid’s toys.) This is the bag that when you are running out, sightseeing or out for the evening… is perfect.
I am a big believer in 2-1’s and even a BIGGER believer in 3-1’s. I believe when you invest in an item you should be able to use it many different ways. This bag can be worn as crossbody, as a wallet (throw it in your bigger purse) or as a clutch (the strap is detachable!) P.S- perfect for travel—it fits your passport!
This comes in fun colors as well as basics. As we go along, you’ll hear me say that the Camouflage print is a “classic.” Camo was so big on the runways and continues to be a staple in designer’s collections. If you invest in a print like this (especially a muted one)—it will not go out of style. It is rare I will encourage you to spend $$$ on something that is super trendy and feel like will be “out” the following season. The G.I.L.I. team tries to create items that will stand the test of time. We want you to feel like you are building a wardrobe and creating a lifestyle for yourself while staying on trend…investing in pieces that you will be able to wear for years to come.
As we go along, I will try to encourage you to try patterns (even colors) you haven’t tried before. Trust me…fashion is fun and we should always be pushing our comfort level (I still do too!)
