This gadget girl got super excited at the opportunity to test drive the new Asus Transformer Book! Technology has gotten to the point where it makes life so convenient. Now, we as consumers have the opportunity to decide amongst a virtual buffet of products to fit our every connected need.
Think of the transformer book as half laptop and half tablet. That's really what it is as the 11.6" screen can separate from the keyboard to give you a stand alone tablet experience. I have to say I was in love with the versatility.
Also, the fact that it is super lightweight - only 3.6 pounds!! makes it ultra-portable.

With Windows 8 I was able to easily breeze through all of my tasks at work. Plus, I have to say I felt pretty cool carrying it around for all of my meetings with ease.
Make no mistake this Asus transformer book is a powerhouse with Intel processing. Anything and everything you would expect with a laptop or desktop computing experience in a much, much smaller portable size. The only thing you'll have to give up is your optical drive. If you're okay with that, this is a great option for ultra portability and lightweight computing.
