Hi Kids! Did everyone have a fabulous 4th of July? Summer is seriously in full swing, but you know me, I'm already begging for cooler weather! The good news about Fall not being too far off is that you don't have to put away those gorgeous IML! pieces you've been ordering all summer! Monday is such a fun day at the Q – it's our Fashion Now & Later event which means I'll be sharing all my favorite ways to transition your summer clothes into the next season. It's GENIUS. You know I'm obsessed with layering and showing you how to wear my clothes a million ways. I design classic pieces for you, but that doesn't mean you always have to wear them in the classic, traditional, or expected way (or even the right season!). That's what keeps fashion fun, darlings. In the summer, maybe you're using one my new floral scarves as a little wrap on a chilly evening or carrying it to the movie theater, but heading into fall, wrap it up under your favorite trench (maybe even my floral embroidered trench – just sayin') and you look like perfection.
A look I'm just mad for in the summer is a tunic over a pair of cropped leggings, with a little sandal. What about swapping out the leggings for jeans and throwing on an easy (but GORGEOUS) cardigan? Just like that, you're in fall. Especially if you add a little driving moc – heaven.
Of course all of my accessories – especially my Bridgehampton bags – transition seamlessly into Fall. I'm just saying that there's a very SPECIAL bag I have coming up at the end of the month is INSANE. But I'll save that for another day!
