As 2013 quickly comes to a close I have to say thanks for all the many blessings our family received this year. It all kicked off with the birth of our little princess Jericho, who we can’t believe turns one year old in a month! She is healthy, happy and so smart which is all we could ask for. Also, Judson and I were able to carve out a little mommy and daddy time to celebrate our 5th anniversary in Turks and Caicos. The vacation was just what the doctor ordered but unfortunately I was under the weather for most of it. My stomach was upset most of the time, my clothes weren’t fitting right and I was unusually exhausted considering I was on vacation doing nothing but laying around on the beach all day. Do you see where this is going? That’s right! It turns out I was 9 weeks pregnant and had no idea!
After such a difficult pregnancy with Jericho I had no desire to ever be pregnant again. The plan was to close up shop and be one and done after Coco. But it turns out the Lord had a different plan for us and come next May our family will welcome a little boy into the fold. God never gives us more than we can handle and I will say this pregnancy has been so easy compared to the first one. I feel great and so far so good with the growth and development of the baby. The doctors are keeping a close eye on me due to my age and also the short length between pregnancies but we have faith everything will be fine. Daddy is also doing well, already referring to the baby as “Junior.” (We will see about that!)
