My goodness, how quickly six months goes by! I can’t believe it’s QVC time already! I am so thrilled to be in the USA once again and especially as this time around I have my magical Emerald Tea Pot with its wonderful twist, which I hope you are going to love!
Have you ever wondered about the process of making pottery? I will show you the journey of this tea pot from raw clay to the finished product. It is always such a pleasure being at the wheel!!

Finishing the lid:
The Second Stage
The clay firms up overnight so it can be handled without affecting the various parts that create the finished product. This is a very relaxing time as all the hard work is done, and I can relax as the piece starts to come to life. It’s almost there now, all I have to do now is wait for it to dry so I can put it through the firing process and transform it into a beautiful, functional form that will be part of many chats and cherished memories.
The Emerald Tea Pot is born:
Wow! I love that every time I open the kiln, there is always such a wonderful surprise waiting for me. The past few weeks it’s been bowls, jugs and, of course, the stunning Emerald Tea Pot with the gorgeous twist. The beautiful blue and green variation of the glaze never ceases to amaze me as it allows each piece to be as unique as a snowflake. This is because over the years I have been developing a top secret glaze formula unique to my pottery that is a very complex combination of ingredients that are layered over each other to ensure the uniqueness of every single piece.
I hope you’ve enjoyed reading about the journey of the making of my tea pot; it’s been a pleasure making it for you.
