Well Happy Monday PM Stylers… Gosh I feel like it’s been FOREVER since I have gotten to chat with you! Gosh with summer coming to an end, I feel like August has been my busiest month yet, 2 weddings and high school reunion, oh my! With that said I’ve been dressing really casual and then taking it up a notch for my special events with friends. Obviously I’ve got to plan my makeup accordingly which leads me to this week’s Obsession…
Beauty Obsession: IT Cosmetics Limited Edition 6-PC Vanity Brush Collection, A236715
My current makeup bag is a walking advertisement for QVC Beauty. I’m even guilty of picking up new color cosmetics at malls or boutiques because I love all of the fun you can have with makeup. That being said, whether you get your makeup here or there, there’s one thing you have to have top of the line of: Brushes. I don’t think there are enough words in my Beauty Soul to describe this set. It makes my heart go pitter patter. Good brushes can change the way you feel about your current makeup- All of the sudden makeup goes on more clean (less cakey), you save time with your Beauty Routine (No arguing with blending), and when they are easy to clean, you’ll notice a more professional looking application. Here’s what I love about each piece:
Dual Airbrush Multi-Powder Brush- I’m all about the fountain of youth or looking like I just came from a facial. If you enjoy the benefits of an allover glow thanks to bronzer and luminizers, You’ll reach for this brush every day of the week. I love using this brush with ITC Anti-Aging Live, Laugh, Love Vanity Facial Disk, A328506.
Airbrush Flat Foundation Brush- I love a flat foundation brush because it fills in all of the nooks and crannies. I’m talking pores and the appearance of fine lines. I also love the fact that there’s no buffing involved. Sometimes I can get overzealous with that process and this brush makes your foundation feel so silky against your skin.
Airbrush Flat Concealer Brush- The perfect size and lightweight. No tugging when it comes to concealing the eye area- which is a huge win for everyone!
Airbrush Crease Brush- Always put your makeup on with natural light! When you do this, you never have to wonder if your makeup is blended properly or if you’re rocking two different looks. If you can’t make it to natural light, this brush is your best friend. It’s fluffy and it’s an insurance policy to make sure your eye application looks seamless.
Airbrush Allover Eyeshadow Brush- Eyeshadow brushes are the hardest to find because so many of them only perform one task. If you want a brush that can take you from lid to crease to brow- try this one out and see how you can save space in your vanity as well as time looking for only one brush.
No-Tug Eyeliner and Brow Brush- I love the cut of the eyeliner brush because when you go to apply your eyeliner it forces you to draw the line slightly upwards at the corner of the eye. This gives to appearance of bigger more awake eyes… and I think makes you look a hint more youthful. Also, the size gives you the versatility to draw thin, medium, and large lines. A dream for the under eye as well!
If you’re like me and know what a good brush that performs one specific duty costs out in retail than you’ll fall over for the fact that I’m introducing you to a complete brush set for less than $50. I’m always on the hunt for a good bargain and this is a steal. Have you tried Jamie’s collection of brushes? If so, tell me what you like about them!

Weekend Recap:
I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I’ve graduated High School!! What a fun weekend it was catching up with dear friends from a time that has passed… and good news, we all picked up right where we left off. Sometimes, I feel like I miss out on things going on in my hometown or get-togethers living in Philadelphia- but if there was one thing that I accomplished by going to my High School Reunion was rekindling old friendships- Now I’ve got a girls weekend coming up and I can’t wait J. Here are a couple of photos…
That’s it for me, see you tonight!!
