The last 2 years have FLOWN by.
When I was added to In the Kitchen with David I thought I had hit the jackpot. I get to work with David Venable and his entire incredible team. Getting to meet David was exciting enough: now I get to WORK WITH him? Unbelievable.
Then, I was able to live chat on his show twice a week. I thought my head was going to explode. How do I do that? SHOULD I do that? What if the foodies don’t like me? It was an anxious time, but with David’s full faith and the support of our team, I was off and running.
We did not promote the live chat on air or online (just one quick mention) and eleven of you came. You welcomed me, greeted each other and chatted about the show: I was blown away. Now we have a weekly reach of over 50,000 people and Customer Care support from our beloved Leslie. Since day ONE, every one of you has been welcoming, kind, caring, and supportive. I will never be able to thank you enough.
Since then, we have come a long way! We have chatted with some famous folks, chatted in ALL kinds of locations, AND chatted on days when there is no show. I love to hear how you are, what is happening and ALL of your great ideas. Remember when Fabio took over the chat and “made me go on break?” Remember when Mally joined our chat for the first time and blew our minds?! Remember when there were “Flat Stanley” versions of you in the audience for the Foodie Chatter Weekend? I do, and I won’t soon forget. And there is SO much more to come!
One day, I hope I will be articulate enough to share how incredibly grateful I am for all of you. Until then, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you.
