I don’t know about you, but if someone asked me to describe modern life in three words, I would say Busy (REALLY busy), Exhausting, and Complicated! I find that, at almost 50 years old, the “complicated” part has to do with all of this “technology” that is supposed to make my life easier. Really, passwords, account names, applications, and a constant stream of updates and downloads doesn’t translate to “easy” for me. As a hairdresser, I’m very hands on, and I love the one-on-one, face-to-face connection that I have with my clients. To me, this is simplicity at its best. You sit down, we talk about everything, you leave feeling great about yourself, I feel good that you feel good—simple!
